TV enthusiasts are currently fixated on the show “Traitors,” which sets strict guidelines for its contestants, whether they are Traitors or Faithful. Hosted by former Strictly presenter Claudia Winkleman, the show debuted its first season in 2022, captivating audiences with its intricate deception tactics.

Contestants on the show are bound by stringent rules both on and off-camera, starting from their time at Ardross Castle in the Highlands to the period post-filming to prevent any spoilers from surfacing before the show airs.

These rules include a ban on time-telling, prohibiting the use of mobile phones and laptops to cut off all outside communication, and restricting interaction between contestants outside of filming hours. Additionally, contestants are kept in the dark about their lodgings and are forbidden from exposing fellow Traitors.

Furthermore, contestants undergo personality tests to ensure a diverse range of personalities on the show. Alcohol consumption is limited, and contestants are not allowed to sleep overnight at Ardross Castle, being relocated to different areas for filming purposes.

The show’s participants, both civilians and celebrities, sign strict NDAs to safeguard show secrets. The meticulous rules and regulations ensure an intense and captivating experience for both the contestants and viewers alike.
