EE has introduced new SIM plans designed to address a common issue faced by many customers – running out of data while on the move. The company’s latest pay-as-you-go SIMs come with a feature called “Data Parachute,” which automatically provides users with 1GB of free data if they unexpectedly run out.
According to EE, the Data Parachute feature aims to keep customers connected, whether for staying in touch with loved ones or using navigation apps. The plans, starting from £10 per month, offer additional benefits such as data rollover, where unused data is carried over to the next month, and free data boosts to increase data allowances.
In addition to these perks, EE pay-as-you-go customers also have access to the 5G network, offering improved performance and faster speeds. The pricing for the new plans is as follows:
– £10 for 20GB
– £15 for 75GB
– £20 for 150GB
– £30 for 200GB
– £35 for Unlimited
While EE’s Data Parachute is a unique offering, other providers like SMARTY and Giffgaff have competitive deals in the market. For instance, SMARTY provides 80GB for £8 per month or Unlimited data for £20, while Giffgaff offers 75GB for £10 and 60GB for £13.
It is advisable for consumers to compare different deals and choose a plan based on their data needs to avoid unnecessary costs.
