Carey Price is set to have a special moment at the Bell Centre, basking in the admiration of the city where he has played throughout his illustrious NHL career. The Montreal Canadiens recently announced that Price will make a return to the Bell Centre on November 10th to commemorate his induction into the Hall of Fame, which is scheduled for the day before.
Price will join the esteemed ranks of the organization as the 62nd member to be enshrined in the Hall of Fame. Following this honor, he will be immortalized in the Bell Centre’s Ring of Honour, a distinction reserved for former players who have achieved legendary status in the world of hockey.
Having dedicated his entire 15-year career to Montreal, Price has amassed an impressive record. Over 712 games, he maintained a goals-against average of 2.51 with a save percentage of .917, setting franchise records for games played and victories as a goaltender.
The celebration of Price’s accomplishments will take place during a game against the Minnesota Wild. Notably, Price is a seven-time all-star and was selected fifth overall in the 2005 NHL Entry draft.
The Canadiens will kick off their pre-season on September 19th, with the regular season commencing on September 29th against the Toronto Maple Leafs.
