Virgin Media has launched a special promotion offering customers a chance to get a free £250 LG Smart TV in a 10-day flash sale event. This offer is available to those who sign up for one of four Virgin TV and broadband packages, which include a variety of channels, free Netflix subscription, and the option to add Sky Sports and Cinema coverage. Customers have the choice of receiving a 43” LG Ultra HD smart TV valued at £249.99 or a £125 bill credit. The offer must be claimed by 11.59 pm on May 27.
Virgin’s TV packages come with over 200 channels and a complimentary Netflix subscription. The Cinema bundle, priced at £44.99, offers full Sky Cinema access and 362Mbps fibre broadband. Sports enthusiasts may prefer the Sport bundle at £54.99, which includes full Sky Sports coverage. Customers can also combine both packages in the Sport + Cinema bundle for £64.99 with increased broadband speed to 512Mbps. For a comprehensive package, the Max Volt bundle at £76.99 provides over 230 TV channels, Sky Cinema, Sky Sports, Netflix, 1,130Mbps broadband, and an unlimited O2 SIM.
Virgin Media is incentivizing customers to switch to their Cinema, Sports, Cinema + Sports, or Max Volt TV bundles by offering a free 43″ LG smart TV or £125 bill credit. New customers can now take advantage of the One Touch Switch scheme, where Virgin will handle the switch process on their behalf without the need to contact their current provider.
While Virgin’s monthly prices increase by £4 each April, customers have been leaving positive reviews praising the brand’s fast broadband speeds and value for money. Reviews highlight the smooth ordering and installation process, user-friendly interfaces, and strong signals throughout the house. Some customers have noted minor registration issues but overall commended the seamless experience with Virgin.
As part of the competitive landscape, Sky has launched a sale on their Glass smart TVs with reduced monthly prices, making them an attractive alternative for consumers. Additionally, Amazon has introduced a revamped Fire TV range, including the Ember Artline model, offering discounts to compete with other leading TV brands like Samsung.
