A leader of a Mexican cartel has appealed to Donald Trump to help eliminate corruption in Mexico. Cesar Alejandro Sepulveda Arellano, also known as ‘El Botox’ and recognized as the head of Los Blancos de Troya, a faction of the Los Viagras cartel, made this request to Trump through a video circulated on social media.

Arellano, wanted by both Mexican and US authorities, implored the US President to address the rampant corruption and violence in Mexico. He urged Trump to halt the deportation of Mexican migrants and instead integrate them into the American workforce.

In the video, reportedly recorded from a hidden location, Arellano directly addressed Trump, stating, “Mr. President of the United States, I respectfully urge you to intervene in Mexico, as it is necessary. Your government operates without demanding bribes, unlike Mexico’s corrupt system.”

He alleged that Mexican officials had extorted money from him on two occasions to allow his criminal activities. Arellano also accused the Morelia prison in Michoacan, where his cartel operates, of being filled with drugs. He called out the government for turning a blind eye to the situation.

Expressing his desire for the US government and the United Nations to investigate the Mexican government, Arellano labeled it as the “biggest mafia” responsible for perpetuating conflicts and keeping the country in poverty.

In a separate online video, Arellano denied involvement in violent crimes and pleaded for the release of his detained wife and daughter following the murder of Bernardo Bravo Manriquez, a prominent agricultural leader who spoke out against extortion by criminal groups.

Authorities in Michoacan have accused Arellano of Manriquez’s murder and issued multiple arrest warrants against him. A reward has been offered for information leading to his capture.

Los Blancos de Troya, associated with crimes such as extortion, kidnapping, and homicide, particularly in the citrus industry, has been a focal point for law enforcement efforts.

While Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum has collaborated with the US on extraditing cartel figures and border enforcement, she opposes foreign military intervention. Trump’s recent remarks on potential military actions against drug cartels in Mexico have not been well-received by the Mexican government.

Sheinbaum made it clear that any deployment of US troops in Mexico is not being considered as an option, rejecting Trump’s offer to assist in dismantling the cartels.
