Vladimir Batinić from Calgary shared his perspective on his son’s interest in hunting. Despite his own past involvement in hunting, he found himself hesitant to embrace his son’s passion. Batinić reflected on his journey from growing up around firearms in Bosnia and Herzegovina to his current lifestyle in Canada, where he has shifted towards more peaceful activities like yoga and vegetarianism.

Initially resistant to the idea of hunting, Batinić eventually relented and accompanied his son on hunting trips, focusing more on the outdoor experience rather than actively participating in hunting. Despite some challenges and disagreements during their outings, a breakthrough arrived when his son successfully shot a deer after a series of missed attempts.

The poignant moment of shared triumph solidified their bond, with Batinić recognizing his son’s determination and feeling proud of his achievement. This experience highlighted the unique connection between a father and son, bridging their differences and showcasing the unconditional love and support that transcends personal preferences and beliefs.
