The popularity of streaming devices like Fire TV Sticks for accessing entertainment content has led to concerns about the legality of certain streaming methods. To address this, eBay now offers the PLEIO, a legal streaming solution powered by Freely. This compact device grants users access to over 50 live channels, on-demand content, a TV guide, personalized recommendations, and the ability to pause or rewind live TV.

Moreover, the PLEIO box includes access to more than 250 games through the PLEIO Extra platform, complete with a controller and a complimentary 12-month subscription. Following the initial period, users can continue the subscription for £9.99 per month. Additional features of the PLEIO box include 4K streaming support and a voice-controlled remote.

Available for £99 on eBay and Amazon, the PLEIO box offers a legal alternative to traditional streaming methods. While similar to Sky’s Stream box, the PLEIO focuses on free channels without the premium offerings available through Sky, which includes services like Sky Sports, Netflix, Disney+, and HBO Max for an additional monthly fee starting from £15. For households seeking cost-effective broadband TV options, the PLEIO and Freely combo may be appealing, while viewers desiring premium content may prefer Sky Stream for its broader entertainment selection.
