Authorities are in the process of verifying the identity of a man whose body was discovered in a wooded area close to Debert, N.S., in the previous month. The RCMP were notified after the human remains were located on July 22 and subsequently retrieved them, confirming that the deceased individual was a man. Although the police have indicated that criminality is involved in the man’s death, they have refrained from providing additional specifics and have not commented on the freshness of the remains. Investigators have stated that there is no apparent threat to the general public. RCMP Cpl.
