While prosecutors will not assert that Davis directly carried out the shooting, they aim to demonstrate to the jury his alleged leadership role within the group responsible for targeting Shakur. William Leslane, Shakur’s cousin, expressed sentiments that while the trial may bring some form of accountability, true justice has been delayed for too long.
