The incident occurred at the exit of Parliament Square in Ramsey, prompting the cancellation of the day’s remaining schedule. A statement released by the event organizers indicated that the incident involved a single competitor and multiple spectators. The competitor was swiftly taken to Nobles Hospital with leg injuries but was conscious and communicative. Additionally, eight spectators were identified as needing medical treatment, and they were also taken to Nobles Hospital for further evaluation. As a precautionary measure, all racing activities for the rest of the day were suspended to properly manage the incident.
Following standard procedures, an investigation involving race, medical, and safety personnel has been initiated to ascertain the cause of the incident. The Isle of Man TT Races expressed gratitude to the marshals, medical teams, emergency services, and all individuals involved in responding to the incident. The event organizers extended their thoughts to those impacted by the incident.
