Some Sky subscribers are facing a frustrating issue with the popular ITVX app. The problem began last week, causing interruptions during viewing by abruptly skipping to the end of programs. Users have reported instances where they are suddenly taken to the credits without using the fast-forward button on their remotes.

On Sky’s forum page, a user named Dazzasky complained about the ITV Player skipping ahead to the end of episodes without warning, making it challenging to watch shows for the past few days. Another user, Dawn, also shared experiencing similar issues with ITVX programs randomly jumping to the end, particularly at the start or after ad breaks.

Affected individuals primarily include users of Sky’s online devices such as Sky Stream boxes and Glass TVs. While it’s uncertain if Sky Q users are impacted, most complaints are from those using broadband-powered gadgets rather than satellite dishes.

The cause of the problem is unknown at this time. However, a Sky representative named Kev has acknowledged the issue and assured users that the company is actively working on a solution. Kev updated users online, stating that they are collaborating with ITV to address the problem and promising to provide further updates once available.

As of now, users may have to tolerate the skipping issues temporarily until a resolution is implemented. Mirror Online will keep readers informed of any developments regarding this matter.
