Blazin’ Squad made their debut in August 2002 with the hit single “Crossroads.” The group achieved six top ten singles in the UK and released two top 40 albums before disbanding in 2005.
Their success led to the creation of the RnB-inspired album “The Beginning,” which spawned six more top ten singles. Blazin’ Squad enjoyed two gold records and sold-out arena tours, including a headline performance at Wembley.
The ten members, all schoolmates, united over their shared passion for music. After their entertainment careers slowed down, each member pursued different paths. Let’s explore the current endeavors of Kenzie, Strider, Freek, and Rocky B.
Kenzie, a prominent member, appeared on various TV shows post-split, including a second-place finish on Celebrity Big Brother in 2006. He later transitioned into personal training and bodybuilding, showcasing his progress on social media. Kenzie also excels as a DJ and is a devoted father to two daughters.
Marcel, another group member, ventured into reality TV by participating in Love Island and authoring a relationship advice book. Despite his brief return to Love Island, Marcel found love and started a family, but faced challenges due to reported infidelity.
Ollie, initially shifting to corporate banking after the group disbanded, now manages music artists and occasionally appears on reality TV. He shares humorous anecdotes about his daughter, who, according to him, has a strict rule about room decorations.
Chris, after pursuing a career in window fitting and founding a glazing business, transitioned to a role as a Field Services Engineer at Virgin Media. Stuart, working as a manager at the BBC, still collaborates with his former bandmates for reunion performances.
Lee expressed interest in pursuing solo music or acting after the band’s breakup but has since maintained a low profile. He enjoys a family life with his wife and two children.
Sam occasionally performs with former bandmates and works in the import/export industry. James and Mustafa Omer formed the successful songwriting duo Mojam, working with renowned artists and establishing a family life.
Tom, opting for a quieter life post-Blazin’ Squad, continues to engage in music by DJing.
