The incident, which took place in broad daylight on Veteran Avenue in the Westwood district, involved a U-Haul truck driving through a group of demonstrators. Eyewitnesses reported that the driver targeted protesters holding Iranian flags and attempted to push through the crowd. The truck displayed a banner stating: “No Shah, No Regime. USA: Don’t Repeat 1953. No Mullah.”

Amid the commotion, onlookers captured footage of the truck ramming through the protest. Following the collision, the truck was surrounded by demonstrators who proceeded to break its windows as tensions escalated.
