Tragic Cliff Falls Claim Four Lives

Four individuals tragically lost their lives after falling from the same cliffs within a three-day span. The victims have been identified as David Jeffcock, 80, and Susan Jeffcock, 74, an elderly couple who were witnessed holding hands before the incident in Whitby, North Yorkshire, on July 30. The following day, the body of Joan Blanchon, 69, was discovered near the Pavilion, and on August 2, Susan Fawcett, 59, was found at Sandsend by the main car park.

The community of Whitby has been deeply saddened by the deaths of these four individuals, with family and friends sharing heartfelt tributes. The couple’s bond was highlighted in tributes on social media, with many expressing that they could not bear to be apart. The outpouring of condolences extended to the families of all the victims, emphasizing their love and impact on those around them.
