A tragic incident occurred as a streamer passed away while participating in a live challenge that involved the consumption of cocaine and alcohol exclusively for a select group of paying subscribers.

Sergio Jimenez Ramos was found lifeless in his bedroom, his body rigid, head resting on the mattress, and one hand holding his phone. During the discovery, his family noticed an almost empty whiskey bottle, two energy drink cans, and a pile of cocaine on a red tray.

According to reports, individuals watching the stream were heard asking Sergio about his consumption progress with comments like, “Are you feeling the effects, Sergio? Haven’t finished the whiskey yet?”

Emergency responders were called to the family home in Vilanova i la Geltrú, near Barcelona, where Sergio, aged 37, was pronounced dead early on the morning of December 31st.

Investigators suspect that Sergio perished during a private video session where viewers, who paid to watch, witnessed him consume a bottle of whiskey and six grams of cocaine in less than three hours.

Sergio had a history of violating drug consumption regulations and had been banned from multiple public streaming platforms. In October, he began participating in live broadcasts and private video sessions organized by fellow streamer Simón Pérez Golarons, known online for engaging in extreme “cyber-begging” activities.

Simón mentioned that Sergio joined the group after observing the activities and stated that on the fatal evening, Sergio consumed six grams of cocaine in three hours, including a two-gram line.

Simón has denied any responsibility for Sergio’s death, emphasizing that he had warned Sergio multiple times about the dangers of excessive drug use and streaming.

Sergio had been undergoing psychiatric treatment and had a history of substance abuse. His family is now seeking justice for his untimely demise.

Authorities are actively investigating donations made to Sergio’s account and identifying individuals involved in the incident.

Close friends Jess and Vicente Paos expressed their anger to local media, accusing those who funded the drugs and alcohol consumption as being complicit in Sergio’s tragic end.
