Sky has revealed upcoming price increases for certain broadband and TV customers starting in April. Broadband subscribers will face a monthly rise of £3, while premium TV package rates will go up by £1 to £3. Affected customers will receive notifications about these adjustments starting today.

Under Sky’s variable pricing model, customers under a minimum contract term can cancel their subscription without incurring early termination fees. The revised prices will take effect from April onwards. On a positive note, Sky has announced that millions of TV subscribers will receive HBO Max, Disney+, and Hayu as part of their standard package from next month.

In another development, Netflix is already included, bringing the total value of streaming apps to £20 per month. A Sky representative stated that the price adjustments are necessary to support investments in fast broadband, premium entertainment, live sports, and reliable services while managing industry-wide cost increases.

Sky Mobile customers recently experienced bill hikes, with most seeing a monthly increase of £1.50, totaling £18 annually. The new rates will be reflected in bills from February 14, 2026, marking the first price adjustment for in-contract Sky Mobile customers in over seven years. Customers dissatisfied with the price changes can terminate their contract without penalty if still within the minimum term.

For those on the social tariff, designed for low-income individuals, the price will remain unchanged. If you are out of contract, it is advisable to compare prices online to potentially save on mobile and broadband expenses. Analyze your current usage to avoid paying for unused services and consider switching providers or negotiating a better deal with your current one. Eligible benefits recipients should inquire about discounted social tariffs.
