A fashion brand catering to plus-size individuals and available at popular retailers like Next and Marks and Spencer is facing the possibility of going into administration. Live Unlimited has taken steps to appoint administrators, which triggers a legal process that temporarily prevents creditors from taking legal actions for a brief period.

According to reports from The Sun, Irwin Mitchell is expected to oversee the administration proceedings. The Mirror has reached out to both Live Unlimited and Irwin Mitchell for their comments on the situation.

Established in 2012 by Rachel Heather and Tracy Egan, Live Unlimited initially started as a small capsule collection before expanding into a full-fledged brand in 2017. The company recently expanded its reach by partnering with Nordstrom to offer its clothing range, spanning sizes 12 to 28, in the United States.

In a separate development, Cefinn, a retail fashion venture founded by Lady Samantha Cameron, wife of former UK Prime Minister David Cameron, is also undergoing significant changes. Lady Cameron confirmed that the upcoming winter collection will mark the end of Cefinn’s operations. While the brand’s physical stores in London will remain open for the foreseeable future, its online presence will also continue.

Expressing the difficulty of the decision, Lady Cameron acknowledged the challenges of sustaining profitability amidst rising costs. She shared the news of winding down the brand on social media, emphasizing the brand’s eight-year journey and the closure of future operations for Cefinn.

Lady Cameron, who launched Cefinn in 2017 targeting modern women with a love for fashion, revealed that the decision was influenced by ongoing financial pressures and market uncertainties. Despite recent positive trading indicators, the brand’s future growth and stability became increasingly uncertain.

As she bids farewell to the brand, Lady Cameron expressed hope that Cefinn will remain a staple in the wardrobes of its loyal followers for years to come.
