Beauty Bay, established in 1999 by brothers Arron and David Gabbie in Manchester, offers a wide range of products from over 200 brands like Ariana Grande, Clinique, MAC, and their own line.
According to a recent report by Sky News, Beauty Bay is exploring various funding options, including a potential sale. Interpath, an advisory firm, is collaborating with Beauty Bay on these initiatives. The company currently has 65 employees, and inquiries for comments have been made.
In related news, beauty brand Malin + Goetz recently entered administration, resulting in the closure of its seven stores in London. This move will affect more than 70 jobs, and online orders have been temporarily suspended. Customers can still purchase Malin + Goetz products through third-party retailers.
A spokesperson for Malin+Goetz mentioned that after a thorough review of the business, the decision was made to place the UK operations into administration, leading to store closures and job losses. The website is expected to resume operations after a short maintenance period. Malin + Goetz, founded in 2004 in New York, initially focused on skincare products but has since expanded into other beauty categories.
