Nothing, a prominent UK tech brand, continues its trend of frequent product releases. Since its inception in 2022, Nothing has introduced a variety of innovative devices, including Android phones, smartwatches, and earbuds. Now, the company unveils its latest offering – over-the-ear headphones.
Previously known as a budget sub-brand under Nothing, CMF now steps into the spotlight with the standalone Headphone Pro. While CMF products differ slightly from Nothing’s usual premium aesthetic, they maintain a distinct style of their own, characterized by a lack of translucent casing.
Although the design of the Headphone Pro may not appeal to everyone, its unique appearance caught the attention of many, including myself. Beyond looks, the headphones deliver impressive sound quality, earning praise in this aspect.
Featuring tactile and clicky controls without haptics, the Headphone Pro also boasts a unique bass-boost slide button for customizable audio experiences. Additionally, a combined roller/button allows users to adjust volume, change tracks, and toggle ANC, while a dedicated button activates the voice assistant on connected devices.
The headphones excel in active noise cancellation, effectively reducing constant background noise during music playback. However, sudden loud sounds may still penetrate the ANC barrier. Priced at £79 on nothing.tech, the Headphone Pro offers a compelling package for both Android and iOS users, standing out for its affordability compared to competitors like Sony and Bose.
