Myleene Klass and Holly Willoughby opted out of attending the National Television Awards this year in favor of celebrating a friend’s birthday over drinks. The duo was seen enjoying champagne at a new upscale restaurant while industry colleagues gathered at the O2 for the awards show.
The exclusive London venue, Ce La Vi, welcomed Myleene, Holly, and their group a day before its official opening to commemorate the birthday festivities. In a social media post, Holly and Myleene shared glimpses of their star-studded friend circle, which included Emma Bunton, Laura Whitmore, Christine Lampard, Heidi Range, Nicole Appleton, and Natalie Appleton.
The gathering was in honor of their mutual friend Shiarra Ball, Director of Artist Relations at Universal Music. Myleene expressed gratitude for their friendship, stating, “50 years on this planet and every one used to spread love. We’re lucky to have you in our lives.”
Holly’s presence at the event followed her participation in the BGC Group Charity Day. Both she and Myleene decided to skip the NTAs this year, with Myleene not being the only Loose Women panelist absent from the event. Several panelists chose to forgo the ceremony due to ITV’s budget cuts.
A source shared with the Daily Mail, “Many panelists didn’t feel like celebrating amidst the uncertainty of impending budget cuts and job losses in the production team.”
