He was paired with Clare Tamas for the experiment and they progressed to the final decision stage before ultimately parting ways post-filming. Despite their separation, Lachlan mentioned that they remained on good terms as friends.
Also known as Lachlan McAleer, he later appeared on the television series The Farmer Wants a Wife, a program inspired by the UK version where farmers search for a partner.
