Motorists are experiencing significant delays this morning as a major motorway is shut in both directions, potentially impacting travelers heading to Gatwick Airport.
The M23 has been closed southbound and northbound between Junction 8 for Redhill, which also serves as its junction with the M25, and Junction 9 for Gatwick Airport.
According to National Highways, Surrey Police are overseeing the operation, with reports first surfacing at 5:30 am as per the AA’s traffic monitoring system.
