Perrie Edwards, a 32-year-old mother-of-one who rose to fame with the chart-topping girl group Little Mix on X Factor, has made a stunning comeback with her new album ‘Perrie’, set to release in September. In her latest music video for the single ‘If He Wanted To, He Would’, Perrie is seen flaunting a red bikini, feathered cape, and cowboy boots in Majorca.
Taking to Instagram, the South Shields-born singer shared a behind-the-scenes video from the promotional shoot, playfully lip-syncing to the track while donning a vibrant cape in a pool. With her blonde hair flowing and a minimal makeup look, Perrie exuded confidence under the Spanish sun.
In a candid interview with Married First Sight star Paul C.Brunson on the We Need to Talk podcast, Perrie opened up about her personal struggles, revealing her heartbreaking experience of suffering a miscarriage at 24 weeks into her pregnancy while rehearsing for Little Mix’s tour. Engaged to footballer Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, the singer shared the emotional journey of losing the baby and the challenges she faced during that difficult time.
Additionally, Perrie disclosed that she had previously experienced a miscarriage before the birth of her son Axel, referring to him as her “rainbow baby”. She expressed the profound impact of losing a pregnancy later on and the emotional toll it took on her and her partner.
