Lauryn Goodman has recently opened up about her exclusion from her sister Chloe’s wedding following their fallout over the Kyle Walker paternity controversy.
The 34-year-old influencer stirred controversy when it came to light that she had two children, Kairo, five, and Kinara, two, with the married footballer Kyle. These children were born during Kyle’s turbulent relationship with his wife Annie Kilner, with whom he has four sons.
Lauryn was estranged by her sisters Chloe and Amelia after the news broke. Chloe, in response, removed Lauryn from her Instagram and rescinded her invitation to be a bridesmaid at her wedding.
In an interview with Closer magazine a year later, Lauryn disclosed that she still had no communication with her sisters and expressed feeling incredibly isolated without their support.
Reflecting on missing Chloe’s wedding, Lauryn expressed regret, acknowledging the irreversible impact of that moment on their relationship and the hurt caused not only to her but to others as well due to external factors affecting their bond.
Chloe, post-wedding, indicated that she was not yet prepared to reconcile with her sister, emphasizing the need for time before addressing their issues.
Chloe also expressed concern about how Lauryn would be perceived during her legal battle with Walker, where Lauryn’s demands, including a £31,000 sports pitch for her daughter and substantial maintenance payments, were disclosed.
Moreover, Chloe asserted her trust in her spouse, Grant Hall, a footballer for Swindon Town, highlighting their strong family unit and dismissing any doubts about his fidelity due to his responsible and private nature.
Grant and Chloe are parents to two children, Isla, aged four, and Hudson, aged two.
