During Fury’s recent match against Arslanbek Makhmudov at Tottenham, Joshua was present ringside. After Fury’s victory, he promptly called for a bout with Joshua, who hesitated to commit to the fight. Hearn, Joshua’s promoter, has provided a positive update, stating that Joshua is preparing to return to the ring before facing Fury in two matches, which are expected to be broadcast on DAZN and Netflix.
Hearn mentioned that the fight location will be determined by Turki Alalshikh’s preference. Despite initial talks of Dublin’s Croke Park hosting the event, Hearn emphasized that the final decision rests with Alalshikh. The promoter expressed hope that the fight will take place in the UK and hinted at potential promotional arrangements involving different entities for each fight. The first fight is likely to be on DAZN, with discussions ongoing for the second fight to be on Netflix.
