Jamie Murray has recently finalized his divorce after a 15-year marriage, allegedly signaling his return to the dating scene. The 39-year-old, renowned for his seven major doubles titles and past doubles world number one ranking, officially split from Alejandra Gutierrez last year, with the divorce being officially concluded last month.

The couple first met in 2008 when Gutierrez was studying business, and they tied the knot two years later at Cromlix House, a luxury hotel near Dunblane, Jamie’s birthplace, now owned by Andy and his wife Kim. Despite sharing a three-year-old daughter named Ava, they have decided to go their separate ways.

A spokesperson for Jamie confirmed the divorce, stating, “Jamie and Alejandra Murray divorced on August 22, 2025, after separating the previous year.” The statement also emphasized the need for privacy during this challenging time for both parties as they navigate their future and safeguard their family.

The news of the divorce comes as a sorrowful event for the entire Murray family, including Andy and their mother Judy. Reports suggest that Jamie has recently joined the celebrity dating platform Raya, showcasing his athletic career and reportedly featuring a photo of him and his brother Andy competing together.

According to a family friend, the split between Jamie and Alejandra is described as a sad situation, with efforts being made to maintain an amicable relationship between them. Jamie has taken steps towards meeting new people by signing up on dating platforms.

While Jamie’s achievements may have been overshadowed by his younger brother, who retired as one of tennis’s greatest players, Jamie boasts a higher count of Grand Slam doubles victories. His successes include four US Open titles, two Wimbledon wins, one Australian Open triumph, and a pivotal role in Great Britain’s Davis Cup victory in 2015, the country’s first in almost 80 years.

Despite their sporting success, the Murray brothers faced a tense moment during the 2008 Davis Cup when Andy opted out due to a knee issue, leading to Jamie expressing disappointment in public. The disagreement caused a temporary rift between them, but they eventually reconciled, maintaining a strong bond to this day.
