In a shocking incident, a man was brutally murdered by a group of individuals posing as police officers on a football field. The casual match turned chaotic when five masked men, dressed in police uniforms, stormed onto the artificial pitch, causing panic among the players who realized the intruders were not real officers. Startling footage captured the gunmen approaching their victim on the field, kicking him while he lay helpless.
The assailants carried out a ruthless public execution by pressing a boot on the victim’s head before fatally shooting him. As terrified players watched in horror, the fake police officers inspected their faces. Following the heinous act, the gunmen swiftly fled the scene, leaving the surviving players to flee and abandon their deceased comrade.
Authorities later discovered two additional dead bodies nearby during their investigation into the murder. Reportedly, the gunmen had assaulted security guards, stolen their weapons, and then proceeded to execute the targeted individual on the field.
The victim was identified as Stalin Rolando Olivero Vargas, believed to be the leader of a local criminal gang. The other deceased individuals were named as Jefferson Sanlon Olivero and Richard Josué Mina Vergara. Interior Minister Juan Reimburg disclosed that all three men had prior convictions for serious crimes such as murder, drug offenses, and robbery.
Reimburg revealed that Vargas had contemplated leaving his gang, Los Lagartos, to join a rival criminal organization. No arrests have been made in connection with the murders, and authorities have not disclosed a definitive motive for the killings. It was noted that law enforcement had been monitoring the gang leader prior to the fatal attack.
This incident follows the grim discovery of five human heads hanging over a popular tourist beach in Ecuador, believed to be a grim message related to ongoing drug-related violence in the region.
