Emmerdale actress Zoe Henry shared details about her husband Jeff Hordley’s significant health diagnosis. Henry, known for her role as Rhona Goskirk on the popular ITV soap since 2001, became a regular cast member in 2010.
In a recent episode, Henry’s character faced Graham Foster, played by Andrew Scarborough, who was believed to have been killed off in 2020. Off-screen, Henry is married to Jeff Hordley, who portrays Cain Dingle on Emmerdale. The couple, married since 2003, have two children and have encountered challenges due to Jeff’s Crohn’s disease diagnosis.
Jeff was diagnosed with Crohn’s Disease at 18 after experiencing symptoms for six years. Despite multiple hospitalizations, he continues to manage his condition. Henry discussed the impact of the diagnosis on their lives during an appearance on Loose Women, highlighting the therapeutic benefits of gardening on their allotment for Jeff’s well-being.
Jeff’s struggle with the condition began with stomach pain, leading to significant weight loss and fatigue. After seeking medical advice, he was diagnosed with Crohn’s Disease at Manchester Royal Infirmary. Emmerdale airs on ITV1 and ITVX from Monday to Friday at 8:00 pm.
