Popular EastEnders actress Charlie Brooks appeared happy in a recent photo with her daughter and former partner Tony Truman. Charlie, 44, was previously engaged to Tony before their split in 2006, and they share a daughter named Kiki.
The trio was spotted vacationing in Ibiza with some close friends. In a snapshot, Tony is seen embracing Charlie and Kiki while on a yacht in the vibrant Spanish destination.
Charlie gained fame for her role as Janine in the BBC drama series before leaving the show in 2022. She later participated in Dancing On Ice.
Despite their breakup, Charlie and Tony have maintained a strong bond, with Tony residing above Charlie’s residence.
Sharing family photos on social media, Tony captioned one image with “Special moments with family & friends feeling blessed.”
Reposting the same pictures, Charlie captioned hers with “Fam,” accompanied by a red heart emoji. Following their separation, the couple continued living together for six months.
In a 2007 interview, Charlie mentioned, “We knew our friendship would continue because that’s how our relationship started. People wonder if it’s strange still living together, but we’re prioritizing Kiki’s well-being.”
Discussing their current living arrangement in a Daily Mail interview, Charlie expressed that Tony lives in the flat above hers.
In 2021, she acknowledged, “He is undeniably family to me, and that will never change, despite our conflicts, which we’ve had, significantly.”
She added, “He can be difficult at times, but no one is perfect. I adore him. He’s one of my closest friends.”
Charlie is presently single after ending a short-lived relationship with producer James Fuller. However, they have maintained a friendly relationship. In February, James praised her performance on Dancing On Ice.
Taking to social media, James wrote, “You are elegant, graceful, and gorgeous! It’s a perfect score from me! Excited to see you skate again this Sunday! You are truly an amazing ex-girlfriend and current best friend.”
He continued, “I’m thrilled to be on this journey with you. You’re amazing! I am incredibly proud of you beyond words.”
Regarding the production of Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, a show Charlie starred in, he mentioned, “Looking forward to playing Rummikub with you after your victory and before you start Chitty!”
