The spouse of the late Dr. Michael Mosley recently shared a touching revelation about her final moments with her cherished husband. Dr. Clare Bailey Mosley opened up about the events that occurred 15 months after her husband tragically passed away while vacationing on the Greek island of Symi.
Michael, renowned for his television contributions and the creation of the 5:2 diet, had embarked on a walk on the island in intense heat without his mobile phone. Unfortunately, he was discovered deceased four days later.
In an interview with The Times, Clare emotionally revealed that she and Michael were in the process of co-authoring a book titled “Eating Together: A Recipe for Healthy and Happy Families” before his untimely death. She described the book as ‘beautiful.’
Expressing her sorrow, Clare admitted to still adapting to solitary meals after losing her 67-year-old husband, often finding solace in podcasts. She reminisced, “I’m getting accustomed to dining alone, but it evokes sadness. It is a somber experience.”
Clare also shared on Instagram her sentiments regarding the article, mentioning her emotional reaction to reading it and expressing pride in publishing the book they had been working on together. The book features 70 delectable and family-friendly recipes, emphasizing the importance of shared meals in fostering family bonds.
