After being left deceased under a concrete slab with a haunting gunshot wound for a decade, the identity of a man has been finally uncovered.

Chester Williams was identified as the individual whose remains were discovered on August 26, 2021, in Las Vegas when a homeowner was breaking apart a concrete slab.

Police reported that the victim had succumbed to a gunshot wound to the head and had likely been buried for a minimum of 10 years.

Authorities disclosed that a tip was received on July 29 of this year from a member of the public who left a voicemail indicating potential knowledge of the victim’s identity.

The woman stated that the man, identified as Williams, resided with her parents until he disappeared between 1998 and 1999.

She further mentioned that her parents lived on the same street where Williams was found and remembered them pouring a concrete slab at the location of his disappearance.

According to Mohave County Sheriff’s officials, “When she asked her parents about him, they said he had just gone and left. She thought it odd because all his personal belongings were left behind.”

“She also said that shortly after his disappearance, her parents poured a slab of concrete at the location.”

The woman’s parents, identified as Alvin and Bea Hamilton, passed away in 2006 and 2018, respectively.

Recently, a DNA sample was taken and matched with the victim, Chester Williams.

In a separate incident, a man faced charges for allegedly transporting a deceased individual to a hospital before informing staff and fleeing, as per police reports.

Christopher Caron, aged 42, stands accused of driving a black Honda Civic to South Shore Hospital in Weymouth, Massachusetts, with a body in the backseat last Saturday.

Upon arrival, he parked the car in front of the emergency room entrance, informed the staff about the body inside, and then swiftly left as an employee inspected the vehicle, according to authorities.

A concerned staff member found the body wrapped in blankets and secured with duct tape inside the car.

The victim was identified as Declan Perry, a 27-year-old individual from Portland. Police verified that the car belonged to the victim, and the cause of death remains undisclosed.
