Stranger Things actor David Harbour has exited his upcoming movie project, Behemoth!, after several months of filming. Harbour was set to star alongside Pedro Pascal and Olivia Wilde in the undisclosed film, which began production in October 2025.
The specific reason for Harbour’s departure remains undisclosed, but it is reported that his role in the film is being taken over by Will Arnett. The Searchlight Pictures production also features Pascal, Wilde, Eva Victor, and Matthew Lillard.
Sources close to the production mentioned that Harbour had only filmed minimal scenes before his exit due to commitments related to the press tour for the fifth season of Stranger Things. The final episode of the hit series was released on January 1, marking the end of the show’s successful run that started almost a decade ago.
Harbour’s departure from Behemoth! comes amidst personal turmoil following his ex-wife Lily Allen’s album release, where she hinted at their past issues. While Allen described parts of the album as fiction, Harbour has not publicly addressed the allegations of infidelity.
The actor, who was married to Allen for four years, reflected on his life choices in a recent interview, expressing a philosophical view on accepting past decisions. Despite the personal challenges, Harbour remained focused on his professional commitments, including his recent absence from the London premiere of Stranger Things.
Representatives for Harbour have been contacted for further comments on the Behemoth! situation. For more entertainment news, follow Mirror Celebs on various social media platforms.
