Darts sensation Luke Littler is jubilant after successfully passing his driving test following a series of attempts. The world champion aced his practical test on the first try, but conquering the theory exam proved to be a challenging journey for the 18-year-old.
After six unsuccessful attempts, Littler finally clinched a passing score on his theory test. Colin Price Driving School proudly shared a photo of the accomplished darts player on social media, with Littler himself reposting the announcement.
The driving school’s caption lauded Littler’s flawless performance, stating, “Congratulations to Luke Littler on acing his driving test in Warrington on his initial attempt with a perfect score. An incredible accomplishment, well-deserved – now enjoy that new set of wheels.”
Earlier in the summer, Littler shared his disappointment after his fifth theory test failure, narrowly missing the passing mark by just two points on the hazard perception section. However, in September, he successfully cleared the theoretical exam, barely meeting the threshold for the multiple-choice section while excelling in hazard perception.
Reflecting on his victory at the world championship in January 2025, Littler revealed his intention to use part of his winnings to purchase a new car. He mentioned his preference for a Mercedes A-Class, highlighting his evolving taste in cars and the importance of obtaining his license promptly.
As Littler gears up for the defense of his PDC World Championship title in December, he faces tough competition in the upcoming Players Championship Finals. Despite a setback in the European Championship, Littler remains focused on his quest for success, with challenging matchups and formidable opponents on the horizon.
Among the top contenders eyeing victory in the World Championship, Littler stands out as a prominent figure, securing his spot in the prestigious tournament through consistent performances. The championship at Alexandra Palace commences on December 11, with a revised format eliminating byes for the 32 seeded players, including Littler.
