Moses Martin, the son of Chris Martin and Gwyneth Paltrow, is making his mark in the music industry by forming his own band and securing a record deal. At just 19 years old, Moses is a vocalist and guitarist for the New York-based band People I’ve Met, which he co-founded with his friends Andrew Suster and Orlando Wiltshire. Formerly known as Dancer, the band recently released their debut single, Promise, under the label Interscope Records.

Interscope Records, known for its diverse artist lineup spanning pop, hip-hop, R&B, and rock genres, boasts renowned talents like Billie Eilish, Lady Gaga, Lana Del Rey, Olivia Rodrigo, Kendrick Lamar, and Eminem. Moses’ musical style is reminiscent of his father’s, and he even shared the stage with Coldplay at Glastonbury in 2016.

The news of Moses’ musical endeavors was initially reported by The Sun, and the official website of People I’ve Met hinted at upcoming tour plans. Moses has also contributed vocals to Coldplay tracks and has songwriting credits on songs like All My Love, Orphans, and The Astronaut. His older sister, Apple Martin, has also ventured into the music industry by featuring on indie rock duo Jade Street’s track, Satellites.

Despite his parents’ high-profile status, Moses remains grounded and hardworking. Gwyneth Paltrow expressed her pride in Moses’ musical pursuits in a heartfelt Instagram post on his birthday last year, praising his kindness, intellect, and talent.

The family’s musical legacy continues to grow as fans eagerly anticipate new music from People I’ve Met. Social media reactions have been positive, with fans expressing excitement for potential upcoming albums and live performances.

While Chris Martin and Gwyneth Paltrow parted ways in 2014, they maintain an amicable relationship. Gwyneth recently shared an anecdote about Moses’ reaction to her on-screen intimacy during a movie premiere event. The actress also highlighted the extensive intimate scenes in the movie, emphasizing the challenges of filming such content.
