Consumer advocacy group Which? meticulously tested over 2,000 items to curate a list of the best 50 products that excel in performance and value. The selection includes items that are not only top performers but also innovative and surprisingly affordable.
Leading the pack is the Amazfit Bip 6 smartwatch, priced at under £63 in certain outlets, which is significantly cheaper than Apple’s entry-level model but matches it in quality. Which? praised the smartwatch for its exercise tracking features, GPS capabilities, and awarded it a perfect score for usability and screen clarity. Describing it as a “game-changer,” Which? emphasized the Bip 6’s exceptional value and urged other brands to take note of its high quality at a low price.
Ranked third is Asda’s Classic Tomato Ketchup, lauded for its rich tomato flavor and balanced sweetness, outperforming big-name competitor Heinz in taste tests while being significantly more affordable.
Just ahead of Asda’s ketchup is Skoda’s Elroq electric car, the most expensive item in the top 50 list priced at over £30,000. Which? commended the SUV for its cost-effectiveness in both purchasing and running costs, highlighting its premium quality and value.
Another standout product is Aldi’s Magnum Premium Washing Up Liquid, securing the 10th spot in the annual ranking. Priced at 95p for a 500ml bottle, it outshone its pricier counterpart Fairy Original, showcasing superior performance at a lower cost.
