Apple has had a hectic week unveiling a range of new products, including the iPhone 17e, upgraded iPad Air, and new MacBook Pro models with M5 processors. The latest announcement from Apple introduces the MacBook Neo, a more affordable laptop option compared to its predecessors.
The MacBook Neo boasts a vibrant design, impressive performance, and a 13-inch high-resolution screen, all priced at £599. This makes it significantly cheaper than the latest MacBook Air released this week by £500.
Powered by Apple’s A18 Pro-series smartphone processor, the MacBook Neo is capable of handling everyday digital tasks efficiently, running macOS and supporting popular applications like Microsoft Word, Pages, and iMovie. With over 15 hours of battery life, users can expect long-lasting performance.
Additional features of the MacBook Neo include two USB-C ports, a 1080p FaceTime HD camera, Touch ID fingerprint scanner, dual side-firing speakers with support for Spatial Audio and Dolby Atmos, a Magic Keyboard, Multi-Touch trackpad, and a variety of color options including Silver, Indigo, Blush, and Citrus.
Pre-orders for the MacBook Neo are now open, with the laptop set to hit stores next week. John Ternus, Apple’s senior vice president of Hardware Engineering, expressed excitement about the new product, emphasizing its affordability and unique features tailored to a broader audience.
