When Emma Munro made her debut at Casa Amor this season, it took many by surprise, especially her former boyfriend Harry Cooksley. Upon her return to the main Love Island villa, she departed with fellow Casa Amor contestant Boris Vidovic, sparking ongoing drama as Boris accused Emma of dishonesty.
Initially entangled in a love triangle, Boris was romantically involved with Billykiss Azeez before his flirtation with Emma in a steamy hot tub encounter led to them becoming a couple on the show. However, their relationship evolved into mere “flirty friends” by the live finale.
Several weeks post-show, the duo’s social media exchanges suggest a rift between them. Boris instigated the feud by sharing a TikTok video lip-syncing to Lies by Culture Wars with a caption hinting at deceit on Love Island. In response, Emma posted a similar video with a cryptic message referencing an alleged “undeniable connection.”
In a recent statement to the Mirror, Boris expressed his respect for Emma but emphasized his focus on personal endeavors, stating, “Boris is doing Boris, that’s where my energy is.” Emma countered by uploading a video featuring Islander Andrada Pop, playfully showcasing solidarity against detractors.
Notably, Andrada also parted ways with her Love Island partner Ben Holborough before the finale due to his infidelity. The series also saw the breakup of Tommy Bradley and Lucy Quinn following a kiss with an unidentified individual, adding to the season’s romantic entanglements.
Among the surviving couples from Love Island series 12 are Harry and Shakira Khan, Toni Laites and Cach Mercer, Yasmin Pettet and Jamie Rhodes, and Meg Moore and Dejon Noel-Williams. Harrison Solomon and Lauren Wood’s relationship remains unofficial, despite Harrison’s post-show efforts to be with Lauren.
Efforts to obtain a response from Emma’s representatives by the Mirror have so far been unsuccessful.
