“Police Investigating Attempted Abduction of 14-Year-Old in Birmingham”

Police are currently looking into an incident where a young girl was the target of a possible abduction near a popular area in Birmingham this week. The alarming event occurred close to Faulkners Farm Drive in Erdington on Wednesday, September 10. According to reports, a man attempted to forcibly take the 14-year-old girl into his vehicle as she was heading to school around 8:45 am.

Fortunately, the girl was able to escape, and authorities have confirmed that she did not sustain any physical injuries. Nonetheless, the girl’s mother shared on social media that her daughter was extremely distressed by the ordeal.

Expressing her dismay, the mother stated, “This situation is deeply disturbing. My daughter narrowly avoided being abducted and forced into a car this morning while on her way to school. Thankfully, she managed to flee and return home safely. Authorities need to apprehend the perpetrator before he targets another victim who may not be as fortunate. The incident occurred at the Faulkner’s Farm Drive car park, and it’s truly unsettling.”

The girl’s aunt also took to social media to alert the public, mentioning, “A man tried to abduct my 14-year-old niece this morning at Faulkners Farm Drive, Erdington. Thankfully, she escaped unharmed. Please share this information to raise awareness, as another individual might not be as lucky.”

A representative from the West Midlands Police confirmed the ongoing investigation, stating, “We are looking into an attempted abduction involving a 14-year-old girl near Witton Lakes Park. Our team responded to reports of an attempted abduction near Faulkners Farm Drive in Erdington at approximately 8:45 this morning. The girl managed to escape, and our investigators are actively working to gather all relevant information and identify the individual responsible. Thankfully, the girl is safe and unharmed.
