Stacey Solomon has released a statement before the upcoming NTAs ceremony, following her outburst after not winning at the BAFTAs. The 35-year-old, nominated for Best Presenter at the prestigious event in London, expressed disappointment back in May when her BBC program, “Sort Your Life Out,” missed out on two awards.

The X Factor alumna acknowledged her initial reaction to the loss four months ago but now appears more positive as she shared a composed message on social media. She posted a picture of a stylish black dress hanging in the bathroom of Pickle Cottage, along with girls’ floral dresses and formal wear, expressing gratitude for the nomination.

In anticipation of the star-studded event in the capital with her family, she wrote, “It’s NTA day. Just arrived home from work, time to prepare. I want to express my gratitude for the NTA nomination. Going to the ceremony with our entire family is incredibly special. Your votes mean the world to us. Thank you sincerely for this moment. We appreciate it immensely. To everyone, thank you from the bottom of our hearts x.”

This reflective post contrasts sharply with her previous response to not winning the BAFTA, where she voiced her devastation online. Stacey was candid about feeling ‘devastated’ for not winning the Entertainment Performance award, which went to Joe Lycett. Additionally, her show’s nomination for Factual Entertainment was bested by “Rob and Rylan’s Grand Tour.”

Addressing her disappointment the morning after the awards while tending to her garden, Stacey shared, “I’m not taking this loss gracefully. I’m devastated for our team who worked tirelessly to create ‘Sort Your Life Out.’ They truly deserve a BAFTA, and I’m heartbroken for them.”

She emphasized that all winners deserved their awards, acknowledging the effort put into creating TV content. However, she reiterated her belief that the “Sort Your Life Out” team deserved recognition for their hard work.
