Apple has recently unveiled its annual event, showcasing the newest iPhone Air, which stands out for its ultra-thin design, measuring only 5.6mm thick. In comparison, Samsung’s Galaxy S25 Edge is slightly thicker at 5.8mm.

The iPhone Air targets individuals seeking a sleek device that easily fits into slim attire. Despite its thin profile, it promises an exceptional user experience. The device boasts a spacious 6.5-inch display with Super Retina XDR technology and ProMotion for seamless scrolling.

Featuring a durable construction to withstand pressure, the iPhone Air sports a Titanium frame and Apple’s toughest Ceramic Shield 2 glass. Under the hood, it houses a powerful A19 Pro processor capable of handling demanding tasks with efficiency.

Apple highlights the A19 Pro’s new 6-core CPU, providing enhanced performance and efficiency for daily activities, making it the fastest CPU in any smartphone. The device is also equipped with Apple Intelligence, allowing seamless email responses, photo editing, and digital organization.

Moreover, the iPhone Air includes the N1, an Apple-designed wireless networking chip enabling Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 6 for improved connectivity. Despite its single-lens rear camera and smaller battery compared to other models, Apple assures users of advanced photographic features and all-day battery life through enhanced efficiency and battery-saving functionalities. For extended battery life, Apple offers a battery pack accessory.

Like its predecessors, the iPhone Air supports MagSafe technology for convenient charging. According to John Ternus, Apple’s senior vice president of Hardware Engineering, the iPhone Air represents a significant leap in design and engineering, showcasing Apple’s innovation and silicon technology.

In addition to the iPhone Air, Apple introduced the new iPhone 17, featuring an enhanced screen, improved cameras, rugged design, fast-charging battery, and the A19 chip. The iPhone Air is priced at £999, while the iPhone 17 costs £799.
