Lennox Lewis is of the opinion that Daniel Dubois stands a better chance of defeating Oleksandr Usyk compared to Tyson Fury due to his ability to follow instructions. Dubois is set to challenge Usyk once again in a bid to claim the undisputed heavyweight championship at Wembley this Saturday.

In their previous encounter in 2023, Dubois suffered a loss to Usyk after being knocked down and stopped in the ninth round, following a controversial low blow incident. While Usyk went on to defeat Fury twice last year, Dubois staged a comeback with impressive victories over Jarrell Miller, Filip Hrgovic, and Anthony Joshua.

Dubois now has the opportunity to become the first British boxer to hold all four heavyweight titles and the country’s first undisputed heavyweight champion since Lewis in 1999. Lewis expressed confidence in Dubois’ potential, highlighting his discipline in following instructions compared to Fury.

Despite Usyk being the favorite in the upcoming fight at Wembley with 96,000 fans expected to attend, Lewis believes Dubois can assert his dominance over the unified champion. The bout between Oleksandr Usyk and Daniel Dubois for the undisputed heavyweight title is scheduled for Saturday, July 19.

Fans can watch the fight on DAZN PPV for £24.99 or access it for free with a DAZN Annual plan. Lewis pointed out that while Usyk possesses a high ring IQ, he is not a natural heavyweight like Dubois. He emphasized the importance for Dubois to utilize his natural heavyweight strength to pressure Usyk from the outset and maintain control throughout the fight.

Lewis advised Dubois to focus on winning each round strategically and not allow Usyk to dictate the pace as he did in their previous encounter. The key to victory, as per Lewis, lies in Dubois’ ability to outwork Usyk and secure a knockout to seal the win.
