Oliver Pugh’s mother has chosen to speak out after six weeks of silence following the disappearance of her three-year-old son. Spanish authorities suspect that Russian influencer Anastasiia Chikina, aged 32, abducted Oliver and fled to Russia after losing custody of the child to his British father. Interpol is collaborating with local police to secure an international arrest warrant for Chikina.
Anastasiia recently shared a cryptic message online, hinting at a challenging situation where the system seems to be against the child. Oliver’s father, 36, expressed concerns about their whereabouts, emphasizing that Oliver’s well-being is uncertain since the disappearance in late July. He revealed that Chikina orchestrated a plan to retain custody and their family home but decided to escape when her efforts failed.
Described as a vibrant and playful child who enjoys cars, planes, and water activities, Oliver went missing from Marbella around July 20, last seen at Chikina’s residence. Despite hoping for their return for over two weeks, Oliver’s father reported the disappearance to authorities on August 7. Alongside Oliver, Chikina’s mother and teenage sister are also missing.
Spanish authorities are treating the case as a parental abduction, suspecting that Chikina fled to Russia with Oliver. To aid in locating his son, Oliver’s father has offered a substantial reward for any information. He made a heartfelt plea to Chikina, urging her to consider the impact on Oliver and their respective families.
Anastasiia, a social media influencer with a large following, presents herself as a relationship coach. Oliver, who is three years and nine months old, has blonde hair, blue eyes, and stands at 100cm tall. Individuals with relevant information are encouraged to contact the Spanish National Police or visit the dedicated website for updates on the case. The FCDO has confirmed support for the family of the missing British national in Spain.
