A British tourist was taken into custody for engaging in a public sexual act with a woman on a beach in Thailand.
The vacationer, identified as Loucaides, 23, from London, purportedly paid Nuchjaree, 61, for oral sex on the sandy shores of Pattaya, known as ‘p*rno Disneyland’. Startling video footage allegedly captured the inebriated tourist lying naked on the beach with his legs raised as the elderly prostitute worked. However, concerned bystanders noticed the pair and contacted the authorities in the early hours of Friday, January 23.
Both the British man and the woman he allegedly paid were apprehended, but they made a bold statement to the police.
Following a hasty change into shorts, the seemingly intoxicated Brit questioned the officers, asking, “What’s the issue? What’s wrong?” Subsequently, they were escorted to the police station and charged with public obscenity, which carries a maximum fine of 5,000 baht (£119).
They asserted their ignorance of the illegality of the public sexual act. Loucaides reportedly informed the police that he had ADHD as his defense, while Nuchjaree claimed to be “a Singaporean student studying in Thailand.”
According to Police Major Chanan Kesornbua, “Both offenders were handed over to the investigating officer for further legal procedures. The tourist was released after paying a fine.”
A startled driver recounted the moment he noticed an unusual scene on the well-known beach, initially unaware of the alleged lewd encounter.
Taxi driver Somsak Pativat shared, “At first, I thought someone had a medical issue because of their odd position. I stopped and observed with another individual. The incident was recorded for evidence while I alerted the nearby police station.”
“This was my first time witnessing such behavior on the beach as I don’t frequent Pattaya often. They both appeared heavily intoxicated, showing no concern for spectators,” added Pativat.
Pattaya has emerged as a prime tourist spot in Thailand, luring visitors with its bars, massage parlors, and inexpensive sexual services. Regrettably, it has gained a reputation as a ‘p*rno Disneyland’ among some British tourists seeking unconventional relationships and experiences not easily accessible in their home country.
Nevertheless, the area’s reputation risks tarnishing Thailand’s broader image as a family-friendly vacation destination renowned for its exquisite beaches, cuisine, and rich heritage.
These events follow the arrest of a British yoga instructor in Thailand for allegedly providing tantric sex classes for a nominal fee behind a popular eatery.
Authorities detained Maria Shchetinina during a class raid on November 4, 2025. She was purportedly conducting sessions as a yoga teacher under the alias Maria Sky Love while holding a work permit as a “customer relations manager.”
During the arrest, Shchetinina was heard saying, “My attorney said it’s fine, it’s good.” Subsequently, she faced charges for conducting unauthorized work not specified in her documents.
