According to a recent survey, a whopping 70% of Brits consider a gripping TV show to be the ultimate shock factor in their lives. Popular series such as “The Traitors,” “Stranger Things,” and “Happy Valley” are top choices for an evening filled with suspenseful entertainment.
Brits also have a soft spot for dramatic soap opera moments, like the iconic scene of Den serving Angie divorce papers on Christmas Day in 1986 from “EastEnders” and the unforgettable “Who shot Phil?” storyline from 2001, along with the shocking tram crash from “Coronation Street.”

Television has the power to transport us to uncharted territories, and there’s nothing quite like a suspenseful storyline that defies our expectations.
