Freeview’s future is becoming increasingly uncertain as more households shift towards streaming services, potentially abandoning traditional aerial-based TV. Adding to the competition, a new rival device has reentered the market, offering an expanded array of content options.
The Manhattan Aero 4K TV Streamer, powered by Freely, allows viewers to access live content online rather than through conventional broadcast signals. Since its recent release, this user-friendly device quickly sold out but is now back in stock to meet the high demand it has garnered.
Excitingly, the Aero 4K TV Streamer now includes HBO Max in its lineup, consolidating content from HBO, Max Originals, Warner Bros., DC, and more in a single application.
HBO Max offers a diverse range of popular TV series like The Last of Us, House of the Dragon, Succession, and The White Lotus, as well as beloved movie franchises such as Harry Potter and Batman. To access HBO Max content, users must subscribe separately, with plans starting at £4.99 per month.
While enhancing its entertainment offerings with HBO Max, the Aero still provides a variety of free content through Freely, including over 50 live TV channels, extensive on-demand shows, voice search capabilities, personalized recommendations, a comprehensive TV guide, and the option to pause live TV.
Manhattan’s COO, Alex Arbab-Zadeh, expressed confidence in meeting the product’s high demand and highlighted the value HBO Max brings to the Aero. He teased upcoming app additions that will further enhance the entertainment experience for Aero users.
The Manhattan Aero 4K TV Streamer with Freely is currently priced at £89.99 and is available at leading retailers such as Currys, Argos, and John Lewis.
