Man Accused of Sexual Assault on Child in Hale

A 28-year-old man named Hamed Mohamodie, residing on Ashley Road in Hale, has been formally accused of committing sexual assault against a child. The case was presented at Manchester and Salford Magistrates’ Court on January 3. Mohamodie has been detained pending a court appearance at Minshull Street Crown Court scheduled for February 6. The incident was reported to the authorities by the police following an alleged occurrence at a residence in Hale, Greater Manchester.

The Greater Manchester Police issued a statement affirming the charges against Mohamodie for the sexual assault of a child under 13. The accused was remanded in custody after his court appearance. The initial incident prompting the investigation was reported on January 1 at 2:20 pm, concerning the sexual assault of a child in Hale.

Authorities have assured the public that, given the specific circumstances of this case, there is no perceived broader risk to the community.
