A well-known personality from the hit show Strictly Come Dancing has been announced as the new host of The Apprentice’s companion series, Unfinished Business, following the departure of Tom Allen.
Angela Scanlon, who danced with Carlos Gu on Strictly in 2023, is a beloved figure at the BBC and has been speculated to potentially take over hosting duties on Strictly itself. The show’s Instagram page recently confirmed Angela as the upcoming lead for Unfinished Business.
In a post featuring Angela, the show declared, “Angela Scanlon is gearing up to present The Apprentice: Unfinished Business! The series will not only showcase industry experts and celebrity enthusiasts but will also offer exclusive interviews with eliminated candidates each week, with Angela and the panel delving into all the drama and behind-the-scenes insights. The Apprentice: Unfinished Business will be available soon on #iPlayer and #BBCSounds.”

Tom hinted at upcoming ventures for himself as he concludes his time on The Apprentice: You’re Fired.
Angela’s latest venture comes after a successful guest hosting stint on This Morning in December, where viewers praised her charisma and called for a permanent role. Angela teamed up with Dermot O’Leary for the show, filling in for Emma Willis due to illness, marking her debut as a This Morning presenter.
