Rail passengers are being reminded to report any suspicious activity they observe while traveling by train. The British Transport Police (BTP) has emphasized the importance of passengers being vigilant and reporting any unusual items or behavior on the railway to ensure the safety of everyone. The BTP slogan “See it. Say it. Sorted” aims to encourage passengers to play a role in maintaining the security of the rail network by reporting any concerns they may have.

Despite the clear message, some social media users have recently realized they have been misinterpreting the slogan for years. Instead of “Sort it,” the correct slogan is “Sorted,” indicating that once passengers report something, authorities will take care of it. This confusion led to discussions among users on platforms like Reddit, with some users explaining the reasoning behind the slogan and others sharing their past misunderstandings.

Passengers are urged to stay alert and report anything unusual they notice on trains or at stations. If something seems out of place, passengers are encouraged to inform rail staff, police officers, or contact the authorities through specified phone numbers for assistance. In case of an emergency, passengers should call 999 for immediate help.
