Morrisons has introduced a new Wheel of Prizes feature for users of its More Card app, offering a chance to win free shopping for a year. This giveaway is ongoing until August 25 and allows More Card holders to win a prize weekly when they spend £10 or more in-store or online.

The prizes consist of More Card points and complimentary products. In addition, every week, seven lucky shoppers will receive a year’s worth of free groceries valued at £3,000. Shoppers can spin the wheel once per week within the More Card app.

For non-app users, a Wheel of Prizes coupon will be provided at the checkout. Please note that the spending limit does not include purchases at Morrisons Daily convenience stores, Deliveroo, or Amazon. This initiative follows the recent introduction of a £60 charge by a major broadband provider with a deadline for action.

Gareth Lloyd, Morrisons’ Director of Loyalty, expressed that the Wheel of Prizes aims to bring joy to customers’ weekly shopping experience, with surprises ranging from free treats to the grand prize of a year’s supply of groceries as a gesture of appreciation to More Card members.

Morrisons More members earn five More points on products by scanning their card in-store or online. Upon accumulating 5,000 points, they receive a Morrisons Fiver worth £5, redeemable in-store or online. Personalized discounts are also offered to Morrisons More shoppers.

Furthermore, Morrisons has announced the launch of More Partner Points, enabling customers to earn points when shopping with select retailers. Over 300 brands, including eBay, Very, Just Eat, Expedia, and ASOS, participate in this program. Access to More Partner Points is available through the Morrisons More app or website.

All More Points are automatically tracked and credited to the member’s Morrisons account for purchases made exclusively through the app or website. This digital feature is accessible to all registered More Card customers.

In a strategic move, Morrisons has closed 17 Morrisons Daily stores, 35 meat and fish counters each, 52 in-store cafes, all 18 Market Kitchens, 13 florists, and four pharmacies.
