Luke Littler jokingly entertained the idea of venturing into the I’m a Celebrity jungle if a substantial £50 million offer came his way, despite being put off by this year’s show. The 18-year-old darts sensation has been closely following the current season to support his friend, Angry Ginge, whose participation sparked speculation about Littler joining in.
When asked about the possibility of following in Ginge’s footsteps, Littler mentioned that he might consider it for the right price. However, upon further reflection, he expressed reservations about facing the challenges he witnessed on the show.
In a recent talkSPORT interview, Littler admitted that despite his initial willingness for the right sum, the daunting trials showcased on the program have made him reconsider. Even when presented with a hypothetical £50 million offer, his response wavered between uncertainty and humor.
Citing concerns about dealing with snakes and similar challenges, Littler humorously dismissed the idea of heading into the jungle. Meanwhile, while Angry Ginge prepares for future trials, Littler gears up to defend his title at the upcoming PDC World Darts Championship at Ally Pally next month. Last year’s historic win as the youngest world darts champion has positioned him as the newly crowned world No 1 in the sport.
As Littler aims to replicate Gary Anderson’s feat of retaining the Sid Waddell trophy, he will commence his title defense against Darius Labanauskas on December 11.
